Professional Background

Entrepreneurial spirit has always been a part of my life. As an avid gourmet cook, I owned and operated a gourmet restaurant and catering company called "Gracious Affairs:" in Bloomington, Illinois. I had that business from 1988 to 1998 after my 4th child was born, I decided that business wasn't family friendly.

Subsequently, I studied and became a American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer and aerobic instructor. That worked out well with young kids still at home but still gave me the opportunity to help people which I am passionate about.

My dream has always been to take my hobby and passion of design and real estate and mold them together into a complete package. Therefore, I went back to school and graduated with an interior design degree and during that process obtained my real estate license. I began my interior design business in 2000 and worked on show homes in Illinois. My family relocated to Omaha in 2005 and I began staging for various agents around town while going to school and getting my real estate license.

Since 2007, I have enjoyed the process of helping home buyers and sellers fulfill their dreams. Whether I am staging an existing home to sell for my clients or creating a brand new construction design, my goal is to leave a Legacy of service for all my clients which I can call friends.

Sallie is a licensed REALTOR in the state of Nebraska and worked previously in the industry as a Stager and Interior Designer. Additionally, Sallie is an Allied Member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and has her associates in Interior Design.

Sallie is also HGTV's area real estate expert and has been on HGTV's "My House is Worth What" and "Rate My Space". She is currently looking for buyers to audition for HGTV's House Hunters!

As a part of her marketing strategy, Sallie provides free staging as value added service to her listing clients utilizing her years in the interior design industry. Her goal is to see the home "through the eyes of the buyer" and guides the seller to the best possible sale.
